What is trade support for overseas exhibitors?

TIGA works with UKT&I, the government organisation that helps UK based companies succeed in the global economy. TIGA operates UKT&I’s Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP). In 2011 TIGA enabled 43 businesses to attend overseas tradeshows via the TAP.

Which trade shows do we provide support for?
UKT&I determines which shows TIGA is able to provide TAP support for developers. Over the last four years TIGA has provided TAP support at the following shows:

• Game–Connection Paris
  
• GDC San Francisco
  
• Gamescom in Cologne
  

Who can use it?
The scheme supports UK businesses looking to exhibit at overseas trade shows by providing eligible firms with grants.

What are the deadlines?
All applications have to be with TIGA and UKTI 8 weeks before the show takes place.

What do I do?
