Newcastle - Games Tax Relief - How might it work in practice?

Date: Thursday 9th August 2012

Chancellor George Osborne promised a games industry tax break during his Budget 2012 speech.

But where do we go from here? How will it work? Who will benefit? These workshops are in place to provide you with more information about how the tax break is proposed to work in practice and to ensure that your voice is heard in the consultations about the games tax relief with the UK Coalition Government.

TIGA wants to ensure that the tax break is effectively designed for the games industry and easy to use.

In partnership with Grant Thornton LLP, TIGA will be holding a series of events to continue conversations with game development studios to discuss where we go from here.

Come along to the workshop on 9th August at Toffee Factory, Lower Steenbergs Yard, Quayside, Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 2DF at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start.

COST: FREE FOR TIGA MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS
