Kent’s largest Exhibition and Expo showcasing the development of Computer Gaming.
In short – GEEK (Game Expo East Kent) is a Massive Video Gaming Festival taking over Margate for the February Half Term Wednesday 15th– Sunday 19thFebruary 2012.
The Exhibition has hundreds of consoles tracing four decades of design and development of both hardware and software – and best of all - the games are all playable.
It’s not just about playing video games, there is also a GEEK Expo that runs for three of the five days (Wednesday-Friday) which includes talks, presentations and workshops providing access to industry specialists looking at contemporary developments in both hardware and software as well as social media and games development.
Educational providers from Further Education Colleges and Universities will also be on hand to talk about the courses and career paths available.So come and discover how your young gamers can potentially turn their hobby into a business and transform their playing into earning!

Margate is really easy to get to, withexcellent road links with the M20 and M2 motorways close by, providing easy links from London. There are frequent National Express coaches and trains between London and Margate and mainland Europe is also close by and within easy reach with ferry links from Ostend to Ramsgate, Calais to Dover and Dunkirk to Dover.
